Individually illustrated ceramic plate.

This is my 2nd plate illustrating the small church just outside Caernarfon, North Wales - St Baglan's Church, Llanfaglan. I’m originally from North Wales and often pass the church when going on walks around the Foryd. The church is situated, isolated in a field, 150 meters from the road and the sea (Afon Menai/Straits) The wind shaped trees circling and protecting the 13th century church has always fascinated me - the church still standing withstanding all weathers.

This has been painted in a monochrome colourway and is part of my 1st ceramic illustrated work.

This plate measures approximatley 13/14cm in diameter.

Dyma’r ail blat dwi wedi creu o’r eglwys fechan yn Llanfagalan ger Gaernarfon. Rydw i yn wreiddiol o ochrau Caernarfon ac dwi wedi bod heibio’r eglwys droeon wrth fynd am dro o amgylch y Foryd. Mae’r eglwys wedi’i leoli ar ei phen ei hun mewn cae, 150 medr o’r ffordd a’r môr (Afon Menai). Mae’r coed sydd wedi ei siâpio gan y gwynt yn cylchu ac yn gwarchod yr eglwys wedi fy ysbrydoli i wneud y blat.
